Research
My research is focused on the ecology and conservation of threatened plant species. Specifically, I am assessing translocation strategies for long-lived, slow to mature, dispersal limited species facing the dual threat of insect pests and climate change, using Eastern Hemlock as a case study. In general, I am interested in restoration ecology, the role of site selection in conservation efforts, and how climate change will affect species distribution.
